The Megabait Charlie Swimbait won the "Best New Lure" award at the 2003 Icast industry trade show. It was the first hyrbid hard / soft swimbait to hit the market. The LA slider won "Best New Lure" in the soft plastics category at icast in 2004. The LA Slider features an innovative quick change wieght and body system. Rapala took the honors for "Best New Lure" in the hardbait category in 2005 with their popular x-rap slash bait. The wild action that the x-rap produces makes this lure unique. Lucky Craft also received a Best New Lure award at Icast for their flex tail hard bait, the Live Pointer 95 Sp. Megabass has won numerous design, engineering, and innovation awards in Japan. One of the most uniqe is the Type-X Frog.
