The Finger Saver knot tying ring is a tool that protects your fingers and hands when trying knots with braided or regular fishing lines.
The newer braided lines are tougher but thinner which makes it difficult to correctly tighten knots without cutting up your fingers.
The Finger Saver ring has a rubber oring on the outside. 

Loop the line twice around the ring and the rubber grip grabs the line giving you complete control over tightening the line. 
This increases hook ups and decreases the chances that you'll lose baits or lures due to bad knots.

Keep it on a keychain or wear it like a ring while fishing.
